Nollywood: Losing the plot - is a documentary video aiming at exposing the inside of the Nigerian film industry. Includes interviews with actors, editors, producers, and industry stakeholders, as well as media education experts. The video was shot on location in London and some Nigerian cities, including Lagos.
ADEKUNLE DETOKUNBO-BELLO was born in 1960 in Ibadan (Nigeria). He attended Metropolitan Film School, London and is currently a Post Graduate research student at the London South Bank University. He has participated in film and television productions in both Nigeria and UK as an actor, assistant producer and director. His productions include: Apata (1996), Tani kin fe (1994), Arewa (2002), Jameson’s Daughter (2004) and Black Doctor (2007). Nollywood: Losing the Plot is part of his research project on nostalgia and homecoming. He is also a co-researcher on the Tate Encounters project, directed by Andrew Dewdney
